I am getting an error when I try to update my .co.za domain's name servers

Are you seeing the error message below?

.co.za name server update failed

The .co.za Registry requires that a domain name must be setup on the servers that you are trying to point a domain name to.

If you update a domain's name servers from our Domain Management area and you receive the error above you will need to contact the hosting provider who will be hosting your website and/or e-mail.  They will need to add the correct DNS entries (called a DNS zone) before the update can proceed.  Once your domain is setup on your web host's side you will be able to update the name servers for your domain and receive the following success message:

.co.za name server update success
